Procurement
The mission of the procurement team in China is to develop the local supply chain for Rugao Industrial Hub and for the rest of the Ìǹûvlog¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³°æ industrial hubs. The local supply chain will be responsible for delivering parts and services for Ìǹûvlog¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³°æ Industrial Operations Asia. The localisation target of the company is 85%. Localisation goes beyond sourcing raw materials and components - it also requires a deep understanding of the Chinese market and leveraging local innovation capabilities.
Procurement team works in both Beijing and Rugao, to ensure a highly efficient and reactive way of working. With the strength of Volkswagen Group’s global supply chain fully utilized, we work with domestic suppliers at the same time.
